Superloads
Florida has no single superload number. Loads over 16′ wide or 16′ high are limited to local moves, reviewed by the district traffic office and escorted by police. Over 22′ wide or 18′ high, the permit request needs an affidavit that the route has enough clearance.

Trip permits are valid for the routes and dates on the permit.
Common questions
Can oversize loads move on weekends in Florida?
Not by default. Florida prohibits permitted moves on weekends and holidays unless the permit itself allows it.
When does a load need a pilot car in Florida?
Over 12′ wide (one escort, two on narrow or busy roads), over 14′6″ high (a height-pole escort), or over 95′ long. Over 14′ wide needs two escorts.
What is the legal width and height in Florida?
102 inches (8′6″) wide and 13′6″ high, including the load.
